Lumeno Opala 40 Pendant Light

A mouth-blown opal glass dome diffuses light without a glaring hot spot: over an island it falls in an even circle, while the shade itself glows like a moon in fog.

The glass has three layers, clear outside and milky inside, so the fitting looks just as good switched off as on. The metal cap is powder-coated and the fabric cord adjusts up to 150 cm. It works with a dimmer when fitted with a dimmable bulb.

For a 2 m island we suggest three shades spaced 60–70 cm apart, hanging 75–85 cm above the worktop.
