Washing machines reviewed: inverter, slim, top-loading and washer-dryer

We washed in every machine for a week: bed linen, kids clothes and a down jacket. Here is what we found.

Kelvo WM-8 Inverter — for a family

8 kg and a quiet inverter motor: at 1200 rpm the spin is barely heard from the kitchen.

Kelvo WS-6 — for a small bathroom

42 cm deep: it fits where an ordinary machine cannot open its door. 6 kg is enough for two.

Kelvo WT-7 — top loading

40 cm wide, loaded from the top: you can add a sock in the middle of a cycle.

Nordis WD-10 — washing and drying

Washes 10 kg and dries 6 kg without a drying rack. Pricier, but frees the balcony.
